Web3 Social Network DSCVR Surpasses 400,000 Monthly Uniques
DSCVR is now the largest social platform on Solana
LOS ANGELES, CA - SocialFi and community-building platform DSCVR has officially become the largest web3 social network - beating out industry peers like Friend.tech and Farcaster - following its October 2023 launch on Solana. In just a few months, DSCVR has seen an over 500% increase in monthly unique users, from approximately 76,000 in November to over 400,000 in February 2024.
DSCVR is now the largest social platform on Solana - the fifth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. In addition to its recent growth, DSCVR is reporting the following metrics:
- 450,000+ connected wallets
- 400,000+ monthly unique users
- 25 million+ total posts and reactions
In light of this milestone, DSCVR Co-Founder Rick Porter said the following: “We founded DSCVR to not only provide an alternative to the traditional social media model but also to combine the power of social networking and community building with the benefits of web3 - native crypto functionality, content monetization, an open API, and the ability to engage and transact with NFTs and other digital assets. Our recent integration with Solana has allowed us to expand our SocialFi functionality further and showcase our value proposition to an ecosystem of hundreds of thousands of users. DSCVR’s monumental growth of late further signifies the increasing appetite for web3 social media and the promise of the industry’s future.”
In the coming months, DSCVR will continue to capitalize on this momentum with new partners, integrations and updates, including an upcoming partnership with web3 infrastructure provider Matrica and a presence at the Solana Foundation’s Hacker House in New York City on March 28-29.
